Eating for Healthy Aging and Role of Supplements
What would your life be like with an abundance of energy and vitality? What foods can increase your energy, improve your health and help you maintain a healthy weight? Do vitamin supplements contribute to health and well-being? This class will demystify these questions as you learn which foods to eat for optimal health and the potential value of vitamin supplements. We will learn about foods that increase or decrease energy. In addition, we will look at how vitamin supplements may help to improve overall health and well-being. Topics to be discussed include which vitamin supplements may fill in nutritional gaps, boost immunity, increase energy and slow down the aging process. Since not all vitamin supplements are equal, you will learn the ten criteria to use in choosing the right quality vitamin supplement for you.
